It was just a matter of time before we got invited to a Frozen themed birthday party. Ironically my 3 year old son was the first and not my six year old daughter, but I am pretty sure he knows the words to all the songs anyways because that is all we listened to in the car for a whole month straight!
Gift ideas are sometimes hard especially if you don’t really know them that well. Enter in the gift card. I use to think gift cards where so impersonal but recently I have grown to love gift cards more and more. My family and I frequent our neighborhood frozen yogurt store quite a bit. Maybe it’s because I feel like it’s “healthier” than ice cream and maybe because it’s really close…like we could walk there close.
For Ryan’s preschool friend we decided on a FROZEN yogurt gift card. Get it? Haha! Sometimes I crack myself up. Who doesn’t like fro-yo?!?! Plus, you can’t deny it goes with the theme of the party.
Will a gift card in an envelope do for me? Nope. You guys should know by now how much I love gift wrapping.
I found a small box and side the box I filled it with snowflakes I punched out of white card stock.
I also added in some teal circles to give it more color and to make it more Frozen-ish. Next I laid the gift card in on top.
I wrapped the box in white paper.
Finally I added some snowflake embellishments and the little girl’s name with silver glitter stick on letters.
Love is an open door…….
